Surf Sense is a proudly South African company specialising in swimwear for all water lovers. Their simple designs in a multitude of exhilarating colours and luxurious fabrics produce suitable swimwear for diving, paddling, snorkeling, water skiing and day long enjoyment in the summer sun.

Surf Sense swimsuits are made from Repreve, a fabric manufactured from recycled plastic bottles. About 15 bottles are regenerated into the yarn for one swimsuit. Add the 50+UPF and your swimsuit will even cut down on the use of sunscreen – a substance that is proving ever more harmful to the oceans, rivers and reefs.

Established in 2016 by Shelly Rankin, Surf Sense is committed to a minimal carbon footprint. ‘Every garment we make impacts the environment and we take responsibility to do everything we can to minimize, curtail and reduce that impact.’
